Community Alert: New Sex Offender Registered in Marlborough
Breaking: Police are informing residents of a new sex offender registered in Marlborough.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Under Massachusetts law, police departments are obligated to inform residents of a newly-registered sex offender in the city.
Shaun Paul Lentini, a Level 3 sex offender, is now listed as living at 57 Gay St, Marlborough. Lentini was convicted on Sept. 15, 2006, on two counts of open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior, and convicted on May 18, 2011, on one count of open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior.
The Level 3 designation is reserved for the most severe offenders, according to the state’s Sex Offender Registry Board. These types of sex offenders pose a ”high risk” to reoffend. They are not wanted by police—and it’s illegal to use the following information to commit a crime or engage in any discrimination or harassment against an offender.
