Deadline Approaches To Fill School Committee Vacancy
Applicants have until Feb. 15 to submit applications for the vacant School Committee seat.
MARLBOROUGH, MA- The deadline to apply for Marborough School Committee's vacant seat is less than a week away.
The last day to submit a resume and cover letter to the Mayor's office is Feb. 15. The position was left vacant after Mark Walter resigned from the School Committee on Jan. 11.
A joint meeting between the City Council and the School Committee will be held on Feb. 25 to fill the vacant seat. Since Walter’s term was scheduled to expire this year, the seat will be on the ballot for the November 2019 municipal election for a full four-year term.

Interested candidates may send a cover letter and resume to the Mayor’s office via email to mayor@marlborough-ma.gov or by mail.
