MARLBOROUGH, MA — With Dec. 25 on the horizon, there are only a few days left to enjoy holiday light displays — and even fewer days to pick the best one in Marlborough.

The deadline for nominations in the city's 2021 holiday lights contest is right around the corner on Dec. 20. This is the city's fourth holiday lights contest. The city's 2021 holiday lights contest will award the best decorator with bragging rights, and a $100 gift card to any Marlborough restaurant.

In 2020, local residents nominated 13 homes, and the top six were recognized. Those picks were:

  • First place: 122 Linda Circle
  • Runner-up: 34 Williams St.
  • Honorable mentions: 41 Ridge Road; 43 Franklin St.; 379 Sudbury St.; and 84 Crosby Road.

To participate in the contest, find your favorite light display in Marlborough and nominate the home at this link. Marlborough will announce the winners on Monday, leaving plenty of time to see them before the calendar turns to a new year.
