Do Not Drop Off Explosives at Marlborough's Hazardous Waste Collection Day
Get rid of your paints, your stains and your old propane tanks, but don't try to drop off asbestos or explosives.
Clean out your basement, garages, sheds and attics.
Marlborough is planning a hazardous waste on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drop off your hazardous waste at the Eastwater Treatment Plant, 860 Boston Post Road East.
Items that you can drop off include computers, brake fluid, batteries, thinners, motor oil and aerosols. Items that are a no-no include explosives, asbestos and latex paint.
