Dollars For Scholars Giving Close to $45,000 to Marlborough Students

MARLBOROUGH, MA — And who doesn't need money for college?

Applications for the 2016 Scholarships of CSF of Marlborough Dollars for Scholars, a local chapter of Scholarship America, are now open.

Interested students can apply online.

“The cost of college is escalating. Students should be taking advantage of all financial aid available to them," said Diane Cronin, treasurer of CSF of Marlborough Dollars for Scholars, in a statement. "Our scholarships provide an opportunity for the residents of Marlborough to receive additional aid to help defray the cost. The organization anticipates awarding close to $45,000 in scholarships this year to approximately 40 qualified applicants."

All current graduating high school students, college students and graduate students, who live in Marlborough are encouraged to apply.

The scholarship application deadline is April 27.
