Yard waste for the purposes of this collection is defined as leaves, small brush (branches 1-inch
maximum diameter) and shrub clippings. The maximum collection weight allowed for both the
biodegradable paper bags and trash barrels is 50 lbs. Grass clippings are not permitted and will
not be collected if placed curbside.
Your collection day is based on five areas of collection (see map link below). For example, if your residence falls within the Wednesday area, you are asked to place your yard waste out on Wednesdays for the 4-week duration. Please note that this special collection does not affect regular trash collection on Fridays. Continue to place your wheeled carts curbside by 7 a.m. on Fridays for regular trash collection. Yard waste is a completely separate collection.
Residents are asked to check the city’s website for their area of collection. Please click here
