Drew Barrymore Partners With Marlborough Manufacturer

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough based medical device Manufacturer, BTL Industries, has enlisted the help of Drew Barrymore in promoting it's latest device. The company announced last week they had the star's backing on their latest device, a body sculpting machine called EMSCULPT. The device helps tone the abs, arms, legs and butt, according to the company.

The device is used in a doctor's office but is non-invasive and uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic technology to create powerful muscle contractions in the desired areas. The device looks like a belt with the EMSCULPT logo on it and a the device slips under the belt to work.

BTL Industries, located at 362 Elm Street in Marlborough, said the device is the first and only non-invasive treatment to go beyond the elimination of fat cells to strengthen and define muscles. The company said Barrymore incorporated the technology into her workout routine to get better results.

"After having my daughters my body changed and my core strength was turned upside down," Barrymore said in a press release. "EMSCULPT was ideal for me as it complemented my current routine which consists of a mix of dance cardio and Pilates to target my core muscles specifically.
