Drowning In Marlborough At Fort Meadow Reservoir

The man was reportedly fishing along Reservoir Street before he fell into the water.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A 20-year-old man drowned Sunday afternoon in the Fort Meadow Reservoir, according to authorities.

Marlborough police and firefighters responded to the north end of Reservoir Street at around 4 p.m. after a report of a person struggling in the water. The man had already drowned by the time first responders reached him.

The man, whose identity has not been released, was fishing with several other people right before he drowned, according to reports.
