The Marlboro Junior Woman's Club is hosting the Metro-West Princess Boutique; an event designed to assist young girls obtain dresses and accessories for their prom without the burden of expense. Prom is a life changing event for all high school student; for some, it is also a financial burden that prevents them from attending. To help alleviate that stress, our club collects gently used dresses, accessories and obtains and other vouchers; providing high school students in need a chance to "shop" our boutique. They are assisted by personal shoppers to select a dress, jewelry, makeup, shoes and a purse. Not all girls walk away with every item, but we do our best to provide them with all they need. There are also seamstresses on site to put the finishing touches on a dress that is only a step away from perfect. Shoppers are admitted by appointment only.
