The Arts Alliance and the City of Marlborough are pleased to offer a performance on April 2: Ricardo Frota will present a program of music called Ecology of Sound. The Multi-instrumentalist Ricardo Frota has previously appeared captivating the Saturday Morning Discovery Series audience at Marlborough’s Union Common. The Brazilian native and New England Conservatory of Music graduate sings and explains tropical nature and its music while playing unusual percussion instruments and making sounds of the living rainforest.
The series is made possible through support from the City of Marlborough, Ezra M. Cutting Trust, Avidia Bank, Ken’s Foods, Allied Waste Services of Tyngsboro, Woodard and Curran, Marlborough Savings Bank, and St. Mary’s Credit Union. Since 2001 the Saturday Morning Discovery Series has provided residents of all ages high-quality cultural programs to enjoy without admission charge.
