Fire Damages Marlborough Apartment Building Off Route 20

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough firefighters extinguished a large blaze early Tuesday morning in an apartment complex off Route 20.

The fire was reported at The Heights complex off Hosmer Street. Firefighters arrived at the Briarwood Lane apartment building to find a heavy fire burning in a second-floor apartment

Firefighters from the Boston Post Road East station were the first to arrive, and were able to quickly put out the first, according to the department.
