Firefighters Respond to Brush Fire in Marlborough

Firefighters responded to a brush fire shortly after 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Crews are on the scene of a fire at 42 Berchwood Drive that has extended to the sidewalk on Farm Road, according to reports from iAlerts1.

CMD reported that they had roughly 100x100 area burning, and firefighters are wetting down the hot spots.

A Red Flag warning went up from the National Weather Service on Wednesday morningfor elevated fire potential today due to dry weather and gusty winds which result in critical fire weather conditions.
