Fat Tuesday Five-Course Dinner Will Introduce Fat Tire Beer

Firefly’s BBQ will be serving up authentic Big Easy cuisine on Tuesday, February 28th to celebrate Fat Tuesday (a.k.a. Mardi Gras), as well as the introduction of Fat Tire Beer to New England. Firefly’s BBQ owner and executive chef Steve Uliss has created a scintillating five-course dinner featuring New Orleans style classics paired with craft beers from the New Belgium Brewing Company, maker of Fat Tire.
Established in 1991 in Fort Collins, CO, New Belgium is the fourth largest craft brewer in the U.S. The recent addition of a brewing facility in Asheville, NC, has allowed the company to begin sharing Fat Tire and its many other unique brews, which have become popular favorites in the West, with Southern and East Coast beer aficionados. A certified “B Corp.,” New Belgium meets the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability, aspiring to use the power of markets to solve social and environmental problems. Collectively, B Corps lead a growing global movement of people using business as a force for good.

2nd Course: Smoked Chicken, Andouille Sausage ‘n Shrimp Gumbo with Fat Tire battered fried oyster garnish, paired with Fat Tire Amber Ale
3rd Course: Fresh Baby Greens with gorgonzola cheese, heirloom tomatoes, candied bacon, spiced pecans and citrus vinaigrette, paired with Citradelic Tangerine IPA
4th Course: Cajun Smoked Beef Short Ribs with Voodoo Ranger BBQ Sauce and cheesy grits, paired with Voodoo Ranger IPA
5th Course: Chocolate-Filled Beignet with fresh raspberries, paired with Voodoo Ranger 8-Hop Pale Ale
This special five-course Fat Tuesday dinner is available by reservation only, on February 28th at 6:30 pm. The $40 per person price includes the food and beer selections listed above.
