First Lady of Massachusetts Speaks at Chamber Luncheon

Lauren Baker handles a one-on-one interview with the theme 'Finding Your Life's Passion.'

MARLBOROUGH, MA—Get to know the First Lady. Of Massachusetts, that is. Lauren Schadt Baker will sit for a one-on-one interview, talking about "Finding Your Life's Passion," as part of an upcoming Corridor Nine Area Chamber luncheon.

Business Forward Females (BFF), the women professional networking group of Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce, present the interview on Oct. 4 at the Courtyard by Marriott, 75 Felton St. in Marlborough from 11:3 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Baker's passion has been in the advertising world, in which she led and managed the development of brand campaigns for consumer products, technology companies and non-profit organizations in both New York and Boston. Today, she works as an independent marketing communications consultant building brand strategies for emerging companies, said the announcement.

Baker is also passionate about social responsibility and works to raise awareness and funding for children, education, health and social service organizations, said the press release. She is a strong champion and supporter of many organizations including a Regional Board of Director for American Red Cross of Massachusetts, founding member of the Tiffany Circle Society of Women Leaders, board member of the Phoenix Charter Academy Foundation Board and Massachusetts Association for Mental Health, and former Board of Trustees for Marian Court College, a small, private college that catered to first generation students from low-income families.

The luncheon is being co-hosted by the women members of the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce and the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce.
