Hockey Mom Rushes Ice in Marlborough, Video Goes Viral

An unidentified woman in a pink jacket has become somewhat of an Internet sensation since a YouTube video was posted of her walking onto an ice hockey rink and yelling at a ref while players were fighting.

Multiple news outlets have picked up the story, which stems from a hockey tournament held June 1 at .

YouTube user "Foxrun" captioned the video with information that it was filmed at a game between the Boston Raptors and Tribe. 

"A parent walks out on the ice and gets yelled at by the official," the user wrote. "You will see how well the refs do at breaking up the fights."

As of Thursday morning, the video earned more than 116,000 views.

7News went to the rink this week and showed the video to other moms at the athletic complex. The mom, a parent of one of the 15-year-old players, had apparently had enough of the fighting.
