Honor Veterans at Military Appreciation Day at Marlborough Country Club

Marlborough Country Club (MCC) holds its 4th Annual Military Appreciation Day.

Join the Marlborough Country Club in honoring our military (active and veterans) along with their families for a free day of golf.

On Oct. 20, the Marlborough Country Club honors veterans by using the Country Club and Golf Course to raise donations for the Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund (MSLF). MSLF was founded in 2004 with a simple goal: to provide educational assistance grants to the children of Massachusetts Military who have lost their lives in the line of duty while deployed.

Military (active and veterans) and their families will be allowed to golf for free.

“Our goal for the MCC Military Appreciation Day is to raise funds for a worthy military charity and to recognize the men and woman of our military for their service and sacrifice to our country,” said the club in a press release. “One hundred percent of guest greens fees and 50 percent of all food & golf cart revenue on Oct 20 will be donated to the MSLF.”

Donation jugs will be made available throughout the club starting on Oct 1.

Everyone making donations is invited to sign the Contributors Board located in front of the Pro Shop. Members, too, are allowed to donate Pro Shop Credits.

Donations can also be made online.

This event is open to the public. All guests will be asked to contribute $25 dollar for greens fees and $20 cart fees. -
