Hudson Gymnastics Coach Charged With Raping Teen: DA

The 41-year-old former coach raped the teen on at least three occasions beginning when she was 17, according to prosecutors.

HUDSON, MA — A 41-year-old former gymnastics coach was arraigned Friday on charges that he raped a teen girl on multiple occasions in 2018 and 2019, according to Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan.

David Auger, of Hudson, has been charged with three counts of rape. Auger was the owner of 10.0 Academy Gymnastics in Stow, which is where the rapes occurred.

According to the DA, Auger raped the teen between January 2018 and July 2018 when the victim was 17 and 18. Auger also used his position as owner of the gym to control the teen, Ryan said in a news release.

Auger was ordered held on $5,000 bail, and his next court date is Sept. 11.

Authorities are still investigating whether other incidents occurred at the gym, according to Ryan's office.
