ICYMI: Yard Waste Pickup is On: Marlborough DPW

Rake it and get it out to the curb. Here's when, and how.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough's Department of Public Works is letting residents know that the city’s commercial hauler Republic Services is conducting curbside collection of yard waste beginning through Friday, May 13.

Residents currently being served by the city’s curbside collection program (1-3 family units and condominiums) are eligible for collection services.

No grass clippings are allowed, but all other small brush, small trimmings, leaves etc. should be placed in a biodegradable paper bags and/or your old trash barrels at curbside by 7 a.m. Yard waste for the purposes of this collection is defined as leaves, small brush (branches 1-inch maximum diameter) and shrubs clippings. The maximum collection weight allowed for both the biodegradable paper bags and/or old trash barrels is 50 lbs.

If your yard waste is in plastic bags, it won't be picked up.
