I'm a failure.. a foster failure, that is. Both of my boxers are rescues. They came to me in need of love and were only supposed to stay for a little while. One has been with me for 7 years. The other was meant to stay a weekend and she just passed the 2 year mark. Oops! I couldn't let them go. Others have come and gone, but these two were meant to be with my family. I encourage people to consider rescue when looking for a dog. The Boxer is my breed of choice, but it's certainly not the dog for everyone. Do your research, visit shelters, look at rescues online. Help a dog in need!
