Take advantage of time with your kids and get out and enjoy these hot spots. Your Patch Passport gives you options for great local spots for kid-friendly fun.
What better describes summer for kids than swimming and ice cream? Whether cooling off in a nice, cool pool or with a delicious, freezing cold ice cream, kids throughout Marlborough are making the most of summer.
One popular gathering place for kids and their families is the Artemas Ward Wading Pool on Orchard Street. Here, a misty dome-shaped fountain provides great fun showering water on little swimmers and non-swimmers as well. At the deepest point, the wading pool is about 2 1/2 feet deep, making it a perfect place for the youngsters to splash and play. Parents and caretakers line the edges of the pool where they are never far from the action and never out of sight. The wading pool is open daily from noon until 6 p.m.
