Local Scouts Wrap Gifts For Homeless Veterans

Boy Scouts, Sweats For Vets

Troop 2 Marlborough spent this past Saturday gift wrapping 175 sports themed sweatshirts that will be distributed to homeless veterans in New England. They participated in partnership with the non profit Sweats for Vets, founded by local AMSA teacher and track coach, Mark Vital. An army veteran himself, Mark understands the wonderful gift that the sweatshirts offer of local team pride and warmth that they provide.

Sweats for Vets has set a goal in 2016 to distribute 1,000 gift wrapped sweatshirts with help from groups like the Boy Scouts.
