Long Planned Kosa Cannabis Opens In Marlborough

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough's third cannabis retail store — in the works since late 2019 — opened its doors on Wednesday.

Kosa Cannabis, 505 Boston Post Road, was first proposed by owner Jigar Patel in late 2019, and was known as Vedi Naturals at the time. The Marlborough City Council granted Patel permission to open in August 2020, and the state Cannabis Control Commission gave the business in late 2021.

The business describes itself as a "premium adult-use marijuana dispensary."

"We believe consumers can yield positive, and life-energizing experiences through responsible and ethical consumption of cannabis with pure intentions!" the Kosa website says.

Kosa's opening completes a mini cannabis hub along the Boston Post Road. Garden Remedies, 416 Boston Post Road, was the first to open in Marlborough in 2019 following by Local Roots, 910 Boston Post Road, in 2021.

Kosa is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day except Sunday, when the hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
