MA Dept. Of Public Health Moves Offices To Marlborough
The Bureau of Health Care Safety and Quality moved it's offices and 200 employees from Boston to Marlborough.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough is the new home to a satellite office for the state Department of Public Health. The office opened on Forest Street on Monday and will house 200 employees from the department.
The DPH moved on of it's bureaus from it's downtown Boston location to and office space at office space at 67 Forest St in Marlborough. The Bureau of Health Care Safety and Quality is now operating out of the Forest Street office. The bureau includes the Division of Health Care Facility Licensure and Certification and Office of Emergency Medical Services.
DPH officials started looking for office spaces in suburban locations out side of Boston last year.

According to the DPH website, the Division of Health Care Facility Licensure and Certification promotes, protects and preserves the health and safety of everyone in the state across all settings and the Office of Emergency Medical Services’ mission is to promote a statewide, community-based emergency medical services (EMS) system. The office coordinates local and regional EMS resources, certifies EMS personnel, license ambulance services, and regulates EMS in Massachusetts.
