Man Arrested on Drunk Driving Charges in Hopkinton Casts Spell on Trooper

In court, the accused man from Southborough said he actually didn't know how to cast a spell.

HOPKINTON, MA — A man who was arrested for drunk driving in Hopkinton put a spell on the Massachusetts State Trooper after he was charged.

Stewart Anderson, 36, Southborough, was arrested early Tuesday morning on I-495, and after failing several field sobriety tests, said, "Bam I just shot acid on you," reports the MetroWest Daily News.

Anderson had an open bottle of liquor and prescription muscle relaxants in the car, reports the Boston Globe. In court, Anderson said he didn't know how to cast a spell.
