Man Faces Attempted Murder Charge In Marlborough Coworker Stabbing
The three coworkers were in a truck at a Marlborough gas station when one pulled out a box cutter, police said.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A Lawrence man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Marlborough that left his coworker severely injured.
The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 30 at the Sunoco gas station along Maple Street. According to a Marlborough police spokesman, the three men — who were in Marlborough working at a job site — were sitting in a truck when one pulled out a box cutter and pointed it at a man sitting in the back seat.
The 30-year-old man then turned his attention to the driver, and cut him. The victim was taken by helicopter to a hospital, but Marlborough police said he was expected to make a full recovery.

The three men had been drinking, and got into a dispute about rent payments, the Community Advocate reported.
The man with the box cutter was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon and attempted murder.
