Man Who Stole Empty Register Wanted In Marlborough

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A daring burglary in Marlborough could turn out to be more than worthless.

Marlborough police are searching for a man who snatched a cash register from inside the Walgreen's along Granger Boulevard recently. Although the man successfully removed the rather heavy piece of equipment from the store, it was empty.

Police released a surveillance image of the man while he was in the midst of the crime. Police are asking anyone who might recognize him to contact the department.
