Marlborough 2022 Horribles Parade, Scarecrow Contest Steps Off
The Halloween parade will take over Main Street Thursday and include trick-or-treating.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough's 2022 Horribles Parade will step off Thursday, and coincide with the city's relatively new scarecrow contest.
The event will begin with trick-or-treating along Main Street downtown at 4:30 p.m. followed by the parade of costumed residents at 5:30 p.m.
Attendees will also get a look at the entries in Marlborough Recreation Department's 2022 scarecrow contest. The city began giving out scarecrows to decorate in September, and all the entries will be set up at Union Common.

The top three best scarecrow builders will be awarded gift cards. The winners from 2021 included some traditional scarecrow designs, and one Sonic the Hedgehog.
