Marlborough Adult Day Center Gets New Owner
The Pleasantries Adult Day Services in Marlborough has a new owner and a new program director.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Pleasantries Adult Day Services in Marlborough is under new leadership. Josh Obeiter is taking over as the new owner and Regina Wolf Fritz is the new program director. Pleasantries is a social day program uniquely designed to support, connect and provide meaningful engagement for adults living with cognitive impairment has been part of the Metrowest region since 2008.
Obeiter comes to Pleasantries after years of running his other business, Seniors Helping Seniors of Greater Boston and Metrowest, where he is the owner and executive director. Taking over Pleasantries was a natural next step for him, according to the business, given his longstanding commitment to providing companionship, activities and daily care for the elderly and those living with cognitive impairment. Pleasantries said it is important to him to be able to bridge the gap that seniors and their loved ones often find themselves in when they are no longer able to take care of themselves or be home alone, but are not yet ready for full time residential care.
“I’m thrilled to have taken over Pleasantries Adult Day Services and continue to grow our offerings and support to the guests and families we serve in the Metrowest community,” said Obeiter. “My goal is to further enhance our offerings to keep our guests as engaged, connected and independent as possible, and for Pleasantries to be a space that everyone feels happy and confident sending their loved ones to.”
