Marlborough Back-To-School Video Shows Student Appreciation
Students gushed about their favorite teachers and who they're most excited to see when they head back to school.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough Public School students head back to the classroom on Wednesday and to celebrate their arrival, the district put together a Back-to-School video as a tribute to teachers and faculty members. The ten-minute video interviews several students about teachers and staff in the school and asks who they're excited to see, who made an impact on them and some memories from previous years.
The video captures interviews with 31 students of all ages and grade levels. Questions included who students were most excited to see when they got back, what faculty member told the best stories and who would you like to say 'thank you' to.
The students answers were heartwarmingly honest, from being excited because their favorite teacher told great jokes and had a TV in their class to being able to confide in a teacher and trust them. One student said she was most excited to see Ms. Casey because, "I can go to her about my problems but she also helps me a lot with school," the student said. Another student said s. Cadel was the teacher she was looking forward to seeing, "Her work was always just so colorful and it just made me want to do the work," the student said.
