Marlborough Board Of Health Holds First Health Fair
Marlborough is holding its first-ever health fair, and it benefits you.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—The Board of Health is holding a Health Fair for the first time for the Marlborough community.
The Health Fair, which takes place at the Boys and Girls Club at 169 Pleasant St. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, benefits all ages within the community and all are welcome to drop in. The first 150 families or individuals attending the health fair will receive a free recycled bag donated by St. Mary’s Credit Union.
Expected vendors include but are not limited to the Boys and Girls Club, Marlborough Public Schools, Marlborough Public Library, the Brazilian Consulate General Out Reach Department, Hannaford Supermarket Dietician, Metrowest Massage and Therapy, Orangetheory Fitness, Planned Parenthood, Senior Whole Health, Smilistic Dental Care, Edward M. Kennedy Center, WIC, Head Start and SMOC Child Care.

Activities include the helmet safety demonstrations by the Marlborough Police Department, a martial art demonstration by New England Martial Arts Athletic Center and a mime performances from the Youth Group at Connecting Point Church.
Additionally, Hannaford Supermarket’s Dietician will be teaching how to make healthy smoothies to sample on site. “It’s important for residents to know the various resources that are available within the City,” stated Mayor Arthur Vigeant in the press release.
