Marlborough 'Project Clean Sweep' Kicks Off On Saturday
Residents, businesses and community groups are invited to participate in the April 30 litter pickup event.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough's annual community litter pickup event is back in 2022, and will coincide with the celebration of Earth Day.
During Marlborough's "Project Clean Sweep," the Department of Public Works will distribute trash bags to residents, community groups and businesses. The volunteers will then fan out across the city to pick up trash.
During past events, the one-day event has collected close to 10,000 of litter from roadsides, waterways and other locations.
