Marlborough Condo Condemned After Hazmat Incident
Local and state firefighters and the FBI were on scene at the Boston Post Road condo over two days investigating the unknown chemicals.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A hazmat situation at a Marlborough condominium complex ended Wednesday night with one unit in the building being condemned by the health department, according to fire officials.
Marlborough firefighters went to the 36-unit 624 Boston Post Road East building near 3 p.m. Tuesday for a medical emergency. A 35-year-old man living in one unit was taken to Marlborough Hospital.
While there, firefighters noticed a "large quantity of unknown and unlabeled substances resembling hazardous materials in various forms (liquids, solids)," the fire department said in an incident report.
