Marlborough Coronavirus Infection Rate Drops Slightly
Marlborough is still considered one of the few "moderate risk" communities in Massachusetts.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — The rate of coronavirus cases in Marlborough improved over the last week, according to figures released by the state Department of Public Health on Wednesday evening.
Marlborough is still one of 32 communities in Massachusetts considered a "moderate risk" for infections. But the rate per 100,000 people dropped from 6.1 on Aug. 19 to 5.1 on Aug. 26, according to the data.
Active cases in the city dropped to 20 on Wednesday, according to city health data. That's after active cases reached a high of 39 on Aug. 10 dating back to late June.
