Marlborough Coronavirus Updates: 6 Cases Reported In City

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough has now had six total positive coronavirus cases as of Thursday afternoon, city health officials are reporting.

Marlborough only had one positive COVID-19 case through March 22. The case count rose to two on March 23, and has since risen to six. However, one of the people who tested positive has recovered, meaning there were only five active cases as of Friday morning.

The total number of cases in Massachusetts exceeded 2,400 on Thursday when the state Department of Health updated statewide totals. Twenty-five people across the state have died.

  • The Marlborough Community Hotline is available 24/7 at 508-251-5622. Residents can call the number to report non-emergency problems and to learn about city services available during the outbreak.
