Marlborough Gets Money for Emergency Management System, K9 Unit
The city recently received two significant grants.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—The city recently received money for an energy system at City Hall, and also for the police department's K9 unit, in separate donations.
Marlborough received $195,000 from the state's Department of Energy Resources to fund installing an emergency management system, and heat pumps for offices at City Hall, reports the Community Advocate. A $4,656 donation was presented to the K9 unit from donor Alexandria Szwarc, who held a fundraiser at the Marlborough Country Club.
