MARLBOROUGH, MA — A 30-year-old man from Marlborough has been arrested in connection to a series of home break-ins in Southborough, police are reporting. Richard Findley was arrested earlier this week after police reviewed surveillance footage from a home near where a break-in occurred.

The series of break-ins began happening around Dec. 20 in the Boston Road, Breakneck Hill, Cordaville Road, and Southville Road areas of Southborough. On Dec. 31, a Southville Road resident came home to find a suspicious vehicle backing out of his driveway. The homeowner reported the vehicle to police, and investigators were able to pull surveillance images of the car from a neighboring home.

Police tracked the vehicle's registration back to Findley's Marlborough address, police said in a press release. Marlborough police arrested Findley after a foot chase.
