Marlborough Man Broke Into 3 Cars In One Night: Police
He stole a wallet from one car and a set of keys from another.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A Marlborough man is facing several charges including breaking and entering into a car and theft. Police said 21-year-old Emanuel Santiago broke into several cars along Spring Street and Bourdeau Avenue on Wednesday night.
Police said a witness saw Santiago ride up to his house on a bike and found it suspicious that he was wandering around the cars. The witness told police he saw Santiago try to open his wife's car by checking the door handles. When he found it was locked he moved on to the witnesses car which was also locked, police said.
Santiago made his way onto Spring Street and found an open car where, police said, he stole a pink wallet with the victim's license and personal items inside. Police said Santiago moved onto two more cars, this time both were parked at the same house and were unlocked. Police said he took a set of keys out of one of the cars but didn't take anything from the second car.
