Marlborough Man Charged After Demanding $140 At Gunpoint
The 36-year-old pulled a gun on his neighbor, who was giving him a ride, according to police.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — One neighbor's good deed turned violent recently in Marlborough.
Around 4 a.m. on Feb. 23, a Marlborough man asked his Main Street neighbor for a ride. During the ride, the 36-year-old pulled a gun on the driver and demanded $140.
According to Marlborough police, the driver stopped the car and kicked the gun-wielding neighbor out of the vehicle. He ran from the scene, but police caught him just before 9 a.m. along West Main Street.

The would-be robber was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and armed robbery, police said.
