Marlborough Man Dies In CT Hit-And-Run Collision

Three other locals from Worcester, Webster and Clinton were also involved in the double-fatal crash.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A Marlborough man and a Clinton woman were killed and two other local residents were injured in a hit-and-run collision near Hartford, Conn., on Sunday, according to police.

Connecticut state police identified the victims in Sunday's incident as Alberto Gonzalez Jr., 47, of Marlborough, and Kariel Marie Torres, 25, of Clinton. A 27-year-old Worcester resident and a 22-year-old from Webster sustained minor injuries in the incident.

According to Connecticut state police, the four victims were standing outside their car along I-91 in Wethersfield around 4 p.m. when a driver in a Honda CRV hit them.

Police said the blue Honda is a 2002 to 2004 model year, has a spare tire on the back and likely has front-end damage.
