Marlborough Man Wins $2 Million Playing Mass Lottery
A Marlborough man hit the jackpot on a scratch-off ticket recently.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A Marlborough man won a $2 million jackpot playing the Mass Lottery.
Leandro DeJesus of Marlborough won playing the $2,000,000 50X Cashword instant ticket game, according to Mass Lottery.
He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $1.3 million before taxes.

DeJesus said he plans on helping his family with the winnings and intends on investing and purchasing a home.
He purchased his winning ticket at Post Road Pantry Convenience, 21 Boston Post Road E. in Marlborough. The store will receive a $20,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket, Mass Lottery said.
