MARLBOROUGH, MA — A Marlborough nonprofit that supports developmentally disabled adults and children will host its first ever prom next year — a dual event that will celebrate Thrive Support & Advocacy's clients, and raise funds for programs.

The Thrive Support & Advocacy "Prom for All Ages" will take place at Polar Park in Worcester on May 27, offering people served by the nonprofit a traditional prom experience, including music, food and a red carpet covered by Marlborough's WMCT-TV.

"Remember what it was like to attend your high school prom? The excitement, the anticipation, getting dressed up and dancing all night long. A great many people in our community never had that experience," Thrive said in an announcement.
