Marlborough Police Department Welcomes New Officer

MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Marlborough Police Department has officially welcomed its newest member.

Officer Maycon MacDowel was sworn in on Monday, according to a news release. He is a lateral transfer from the Daytona Beach Police Department.

MacDowel has seven years of experience and served in specialized task forces in Florida, according to police.

"We are lucky and proud to onboard Officer MacDowel and look forward to having him as a member with our department," wrote the Marlborough Police Department. "Congratulations and best of luck!"
