Marlborough Police To Hold Women's Self-Defense Class
The Marlborough Police Department will be hosting a R.A.D. class starting later this month.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Marlborough Police Department will be hosting a R.A.D. class starting on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. The class is designed for Basic physical self-defense for women. The class will focus on selected defensive tactics which will help build self-confidence throughout the course. All classes will be held at the Marlborough Police station on Tuesday nights from 6:00-9:00 pm. Each class is approximately 2 ½-3hrs. (12 hours total). The class is free and will be limited to (12 students).
Students interested should bring comfortable clothing attire, sneakers and water. There will be a minimal amount of physical activity each session which will increase as the class moves forward. Throughout the course, students will demonstrate a variety of kicks, punches, blocks, etc., with the assistance of certified RAD instructors.

Dates for the class: September 24th, October 1st, 8th and 15th. ***The class will fill up quick, all students who participate must attend all 4 classes.
