Marlborough Police Investigating Shots Fired Downtown

No one was injured when a person in a car opened fire downtown early Friday morning, according to police.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough police detectives are investigating a shots-fired incident that happened early Friday morning.

According to police, someone fired two shots along Cotting Avenue near Main Street at around 12:30 a.m. Police believe the gunfire came from a vehicle, which sped away from the scene of the shooting.

No one was injured during the incident, police said.
