Marlborough Police Partners for Heroes and Helpers Shopping Event

On Friday, Dec. 12, at 5 p.m., the Marlborough Police Department partners with Target on Boston Post Road East in Marlborough for a Heroes and Helpers shopping event.

During this event, 11 children join police officers to shop at Target for holiday gifts.

According to Target, its annual “Heroes & Helpers events pairs public safety officials with community youth for holiday shopping sprees at our stores.”

Through the 2013 program, Target donated more than $200,000 to agencies in approximately 200 communities across the U.S. to help kids in need buy holiday gifts for their families while developing relationships with local law enforcement.
