Marlborough Reports New Coronavirus Death
Meanwhile, Marlborough's total coronavirus case count grew to 257, according to city officials.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough reported the city's fifth coronavirus death on Monday as Massachusetts reaches the possible peak of the outbreak.
Marlborough on Monday also reported that cases in the city had grown to 257, up from the 245 cases reported on April 18. Marlborough is also reporting an increase in the number of people who have recovered from the virus. That number stood at 100 on Monday, up from 86 on April 18.
Subtracting deaths and recoveries, there are now 152 active coronavirus cases in Marlborough. That's actually three less than reported on April 18.

Statewide, Massachusetts had 39,643 total coronavirus cases as of Monday and 1,809 deaths. The state has the third-highest number of cases in the U.S. behind only New York and New Jersey.
