Marlborough Rotarians deliver holiday dinner to 35 families

Rotarians with friends and family assembled boxes of food and delivered them to 35 families in Marlborough for their holiday dinner.

It has been a long standing tradition of the Marlborough Rotary Club to share the bounty of the season with others in the community. On Saturday, December 22, a group of Marlborough Rotarians, together with families and friends, met at 8:30 a.m. at the Market Basket in Hudson to assemble food baskets for 35 Marlborough families. After the assembly process, each group or family or friends took a list of three Marlborough families to which they would deliver a box filled with everything needed for a holiday feast including a turkey.

The group worked swiftly and efficiently and were all on the road to make their deliveries by 9 a.m.

Marlborough Rotary Club President David Morticelli said, “The Marlborough Rotary Club has always held the welfare of our City’s families to be of great concern. Our members are pleased to continue this tradition of making merrier holidays for deserving families in our community.”
