Marlborough School Committee Honors Student Advisory Council Members
Marlborough School officials recognized five Student Advisory Council members for sharing student feedback during the 2025-26 year.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough school officials closed out part of the school year by recognizing students who spent the year bringing student feedback to the School Committee.
At the June 9 School Committee meeting, Marlborough Public Schools heard for the final time this school year from five 2025-26 Student Advisory Council members: Atul Modur, Altagracia Toussaint, Maggie Morrissey, Jade Onyango and Sophia Nieves, according to the district
The June 9 regular meeting was the second-to-last School Committee meeting of the school year, with another regular meeting scheduled for June 23, according to the district’s meeting schedule

The council members recognized were Modur, the student representative to the School Committee and a member of the Class of 2026; Toussaint, Class of 2026; Morrissey, Class of 2027; Onyango, Class of 2028; and Nieves, Class of 2029, according to Marlborough Public Schools.
Modur and Toussaint graduated this year, the district said.

The Marlborough High School Student Council says the five Student Advisory Committee members provide the student perspective to the local School Committee. Massachusetts law requires school committees to meet at least every other month during the school year with a five-member student advisory committee elected by the high school student body.
Marlborough Public Schools also thanked Ms. Klein and Mrs. Stuart, the Student Council co-advisors, for promoting civic engagement and helping students contribute to their community.
