Marlborough Schools Kindergarten Information Day Rescheduled for Feb. 23

With such brutal snowstorms in the past three weeks, Marlborough Public Schools have had to reschedule Kindergarten Information Day twice already.

Now the school system has pushed the information day as far ahead as possible, scheduling it for the day before kindergarten registration.

The new Kindergarten Information Day will be held on Monday, Feb. 23 at 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Whitcomb Middle School Blue Cafeteria.

Marlborough School District staff, as well as spanish and portuguese translators, will be available to answer questions and run parents through the steps needed to register for kindergarten.

Any kid who will be five on or before Aug. 31, 2015 is eligible to register for kindergarten next school year.

Kindergarten registration will be held at the Whitcomb Middle School Library, 25 Union Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the following dates:

• Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 (Last name beginning A-G)
• Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 (Last name beginning H-O)
• Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 (Last name beginning P-Z)
