Marlborough Sticks With Community Choice Electric

MARLBOROUGH, MA - The city extended its partnership between Community Choice Power Supply Company and Hampshire Power.

That means Hampshire Power continues provide electric power supply for all consumers participating in Marlborough’s Program.

Customers won’t notice a change in their electric service. Hampshire Power is printed under the “supply services” section on the bill, and customers continue to receive one bill from National Grid.

National Grid will continue to respond to emergencies, read meters and maintain the distribution and transmission lines. Reliability and quality of service will remain the same.

Customers see a 2- to 3-cent savings from National Grid’s rate per kWh for residential, industrial and commercial.
